Yuxuan Tang is a Vice President and Global Market Strategist at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, based in Hong Kong. Ms. Tang formulates and communicates the Private Bank’s investment views and asset allocation strategies, focusing her research on macroeconomics, interest rates, and foreign exchange (FX).
Ms. Tang has an extensive portfolio of published works on topics related to FX and commodity markets. Her notable contributions include in-depth analyses of currency diversification, FX carry trades, and the dynamics of the gold market. Additionally, she contributed to the development of an FX hedging framework for cross-asset investors allocating to equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. Her research insights are frequently cited by leading financial media outlets, such as Bloomberg and Reuters. Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2019, she gained experience through a rotational graduate program at HSBC, spanning various banking divisions.
